Privacy Policy

PairlyMix processes only the information required to provide personalised cocktail pairing while respecting GDPR. Analytics/crash data is optional and disabled until you consent.

Personal data we process

  • Account details (email, subscription tier, optional display name) when you sign in.
  • Device metadata such as language, OS, and anonymised usage events (only if you enable analytics/crash reports).
  • Purchase tokens from Google Play / App Store to activate premium features.
  • Messages you send to support@pairlymix.com.

Why and on what legal basis

  • Provide cocktail/pairing functionality, sync history, and manage subscriptions — contract (Art. 6(1)(b)).
  • Validate purchases and comply with tax/accounting rules — legal obligation.
  • Improve stability via analytics & crash diagnostics — legitimate interest, activated only after consent.
  • Respond to enquiries and prevent abuse — legitimate interest.

Storage, transfers & security

  • Primary infrastructure runs inside the EU. If we rely on processors outside the EEA, transfers use Standard Contractual Clauses.
  • Data in transit uses TLS; access is limited to staff with need-to-know roles.
  • Recipe history stays on your device unless you explicitly back it up while signed in.

Data retention

Account/subscription data is kept while the account is active plus up to 24 months for bookkeeping. Consent logs are stored for five years. Local recipe history can be cleared anytime inside the app.

Your GDPR rights

You may request access, rectification, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing. Withdraw analytics consent via Settings → Support. If unsatisfied, contact the Spanish AEPD or your local EU authority.

Account deletion & premium cancellation

To delete your PairlyMix profile (synced history, premium status, stored support threads) please contact us so we can verify ownership before erasing anything.

  • Email support@pairlymix.com from the Google account used for purchases with the subject “Account deletion” and include your latest Google Play order ID (GPA-xxxx).
  • We reply within three business days, queue the deletion, cancel premium at the next renewal, and keep hashed purchase tokens for up to 24 months to satisfy tax requirements.

Cloud data (history, preferences, support tickets) is erased within 30 days. Local backups on your device and store receipts remain under Google Play / App Store policies.

Data export or partial deletion

Need a copy of your data or want us to wipe analytics while keeping the profile active? Submit a GDPR request so we can authenticate and process it.

  • Email support@pairlymix.com with the subject “GDPR data request” or “GDPR partial deletion”.
  • Describe what you need: full export (JSON/CSV), deletion of analytics/crash events, removal of prompts only, etc.
  • We acknowledge within 7 days and complete the request within 30 days unless EU law allows an extension, in which case we will inform you.

For security we may ask you to confirm ownership via your Google account ID or a short verification code inside the app before fulfilling the request.
